Meet Our Leaders

Bishop Dominic Curry was born and raised in our nation’s capital, Washington, DC. It was there in the District where Curry and his family attended their neighborhood church where he was introduced to Jesus Christ at an early age. Bishop Curry was baptized in the name of our Lord in 1984 at Gospel Ark Temple Bible Way Church under the leadership of the late Dr. John Lamb. It was under the tutelage of this foundational leadership that he then later in 1987 received the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. Like many children who were raised in the church, he strayed and went his way, as opposed to God’s way.

In 1998, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but what seemed like an end became the true beginning. While incarcerated, he rededicated his life to Christ, earned his GED, married his wife Tanyona, and embraced his call to ministry—serving faithfully as a minister and teacher inside the prison chapel.

Overseer Bennie A. Duncan, affectionately known as Pastor Bennie, grew up in Palmer Park, Maryland. Raised in church under a strong apostolic anointing, he faithfully served in nearly every area of ministry—singing in the choir, serving on the junior usher board, leading worship, playing music, and even reciting poetry during youth services. From an early age, he learned to hear and obey the voice of God. At just sixteen years old, during one of the most difficult seasons of his life, God called him into ministry. Separated from his parents and siblings, young Bennie chose obedience to the Spirit and began evangelizing youth throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Since then, he has been blessed to preach the gospel across denominational lines, in season and out of season. In 2010, Overseer Duncan founded God’s Purpose Ministries, later relocating it to Bear, Delaware and incorporating it in 2016.

Through this ministry, he addressed humanitarian needs while pointing people back to God’s original intent for their lives. The Lord expanded his influence internationally, connecting him with Pastor and Missionary Sohail Rehmat of Lahore, Pakistan, and Pastor Matthew Wakay of Liberia, West Africa. He welcomed Pastor Sohail into his home in Delaware in 2015, sharing fellowship over a traditional Pakistani meal. With Pastor Wakay, he co-founded God’s Purpose Ministries International, supporting the construction of a new facility in Liberia that now houses a church, school, and clinic.

In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, God’s Purpose Ministries, Inc. joined with the Church One Fellowship to establish Church One Waldorf. Services were held both online and in person, a permanent worship location was secured, homeless families received care, and countless souls were saved. His international ministry expanded further to India, Haiti, and other African nations. In 2023, led by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Bennie launched The F .L.O.W. Church—a thriving, mobile ministry whose culture proclaims: “We are family and Jesus is Lord." F.L.O.W. represents Fellowship, Love, Obedience, and Worship. That same year, he was ordained as Overseer, serving Virginia and Southern Maryland. Today, he remains deeply invested in the growth and development of Charles County, especially Waldorf—where he believes God has entrusted him with the “keys to the city.”

In 2025, Overseer Duncan founded F .L.O.W. Ministries International for the purpose of establishing churches, as well as teaching and training the people of God to evangelize souls for the Kingdom of God.

Beyond the pulpit, Overseer Duncan’s first and greatest ministry is his home. He has been married since 2003 to the love of his life, Lady Michelle Duncan, his royal diadem. Together they joyfully parent their miracle daughter, Bethanie, a living testament to God’s power and

faithfulness. Overseer Bennie A. Duncan is ordained by God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with passion, delivering a message of hope, forgiveness, and restoration to all people.
